Product Details

All stretched canvases are painted with professional grade acrylic paints and finished with a matte varnish to protect the canvas from dust, dirt, and aging.

 

Canvas edges are completely painted, so they are ready to hang without a frame. 


Each canvas is hand-sketched and hand-painted from photo reference.  Please allow 2-4 weeks for products to ship. 


Finished canvases are wrapped in a protective layer of packing paper and multiple layers of bubble wrap for shipping, to ensure the canvas arrives safely.  All products are shipped through USPS.

How to Order

Place your order through my Etsy shop, PaintedPawsandPrints. 


After your order is placed, please send 1-2 photos of your pet with your order number via Etsy messages or email, info@paintedpawsandprints.com.  Make sure the photo of your pet is high quality, in natural lighting, and your pet is eye-level with the camera for best results.  Be sure to ask any questions or add any special requests in your message/email.


I will send a follow-up message or email to confirm your order and answer any questions you may have.  Once we confirm all details, the painting will begin. IMPORTANT: The painting process will not begin until all details are mutually confirmed.  Keep an eye out in your inbox for any messages!


Before the final painting is shipped, a photo of the finished product will be sent to you.

My Background

I have always had an interest in art, and really got to explore this interest during the pandemic in 2020.  My extra free time allowed me to practice different styles and techniques of painting, which led me to my favorite; realistic portraits of animals.

All of my paintings are done on a stretched canvas with acrylic paints, with various size options and background colors to choose from.

I was originally inspired when I created a painting of my lovely black lab to give as a gift to my significant other.  During the process, I realized how much I had enjoyed painting from photo reference and continued making paintings for friends and family.
